Quarrying activities can have a significant impact on the immediate community, we make every effort to be a good neighbour.
What are Winstone Aggregates doing as responsible members of our community?
Provide non-residential ‘buffer zones’ to protect neighbours from noise and dust around our quarries
Shelter belts of native trees endemic to the area are planted wherever possible
Site liaison groups have been set up in our larger quarries and meet regularly with community members to address any public concerns
Host public open days and school trips
Bring in experts to liaise with the local community
