| Every two or three years Winstone has its quarry sites "flown" or photographed from the air. Using a technique known as photogrammetry, controlled pairs of photographs can be used to accurately map the site topographically. (i.e Both horizontal and vertical relationships) The most recent photograph and topograhical map was produced in August 2007 (PDF 1.6 MB). |
