Developed by Metso, the HP4 is the very latest in cone-crushing technology and although there are now more than 150 units worldwide, Hunua Quarry is home to the only HP4 in Australasia.

Mimico supplied the machine and working to a tight deadline, the team installed the HP4 on time and on budget during the last Easter break. Already delivering significant operational savings with increased throughput, reduced tertiary operating costs and increased energy efficiency, the HP4 has also equipped Hunua Quarry to take advantage of opportunities that present themselves as the economy recovers.
